In this lecture, we'll touch on key topics as they relate to the AZ-900 exam. We'll cover cloud computing and several key cloud concepts. Core Solutions on Azure
Over the next several lectures, you are going to learn about key Azure solutions that are available to you. The solutions we're going to cover are those that are specifically called out in the AZ-900 exam objectives.
The Internet of Things, or IoT, refers to the ability of devices to collect data and then to relay that data for analysis. Although there are several services that help organizations create end-to-end solutions for IoT on Azure, the two main Azure IoT service types are Azure IoT Central and Azure IoT Hub. That being the case, these are the two offerings we’ll cover in this lecture.
In this lecture, we’re going to review some of the key big data and analytics solutions in Azure. We’ll cover Azure SQL Data Warehouse, HDInsight, Data Lake Analytics, and Azure Databricks. We aren’t going to do a deep dive, because that’s not really what AZ-900 is after. Instead, we’ll touch on them at a higher level, so you understand what they are and what they offer.
In this lecture, we’re going to talk about Artificial Intelligence. We’re going to cover the Azure Machine Learning Service and the Azure Machine Learning Studio. However, before we get into those offerings, let’s look at what artificial intelligence is, in the context of cloud computing.
In this lecture, you'll be introduced to the Azure Cognitive Services offering.
In this lecture, we’re going to take a look at what serverless computing is, and then we’re going to dive into some of the more common serverless service types, including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Event Grid.

We’re also going to cover key security-centric Azure resources and services, including Azure Firewall and DDoS protection. Network Security Groups and Application Security Groups will also be covered. We’ll wrap up with recommendations for choosing Azure network security solutions.

In this lecture, we’re going to talk about several key security tools and features, including Azure Security Center, Key Vault, Azure Information Protection, and Azure Advanced Threat Protection.

Microsoft Azure Sentinel is newer Azure offering as of late 2019. It’s a cloud-based security information event management (or SIEM) and security orchestration automated response (or SOAR) solution.
